About Concept
Concept Wood Design was founded in 2014 by Paul Deosaran and Dave Eske on the idea that they could meld innovative design, superior materials, and fine craftsmanship.
We employ a consultative approach to understand our customers’ needs before touching a single piece of wood.
Concept has grown well beyond our initial focus on residential projects such as cabinetry, millwork, and furnishings. Today, Concept is a trusted partner to contractors and professional designers. Our work can be found in a diverse array of settings including restaurants, hotels, health clubs, theatres, offices, and museums.
We started out in a small, sublet space in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. In 2018, we moved to our own 7,000 square foot shop in Baltimore. While woodworking is Concept’s focus, we have completed projects that artfully blend wood, glass, metal, and stone.

“The Cabinet Makers Association was incorporated in 1998 by a group of custom cabinetmakers who thought our industry needed a group for the small- to mid-size shops to network and help each other grow profitably. From our humble beginnings in a Chicago hotel on a cold winter night, we have grown to include hundreds of small to medium cabinet shops, millworkers, furniture makers, and suppliers throughout the USA and Canada.”
